Description
Tommy’s War is a range of British and Empire figures modelled on the First World War, an area of real interest to myself, and I believe many others.
Figure 5 in the series is a Sergeant of the 2nd Bn Suffolk Regiment. The high ground of the site today (known as Suffolk Hill) is dominated by a memorial to the brave men of the Suffolks who didn’t receive the order to retire and despite calls from the Germans to surrender fought to the bitter end with only a small number of men escaping.
The figure has been sculpted by Nino Pizzichemi and the box artwork is by Gunther Sternberg.
The figure is 54mm in height (1/32 scale) and is supplied unpainted, the kit requires assembly and is not suitable for children under the age of 12. The groundwork was provided by the artist and is not included
All figures in the Tommy’s War range now include a photo etch rifle sling (where the figure includes a rifle) and all orders receive a four page newsletter which gives information about the figures and period.
You can find more details about the range and more information on new releases at www.tommyswar.com
