On Saturday November 12th and Sunday November 13th Scale Model World returns to the International Centre in Telford for the annual two-day model show organised by the International Plastic Modellers Society (UK).

This is the largest model show in the UK calendar and there will be a host of model companies as well as local IPMS clubs and displays.

I’m pleased to say that I’ll be there with Tommy’s War, and as this will be my final model show I’m really excited to be there.

Since the announcement that Tommy’s War will end at the end of 2023 I’ve been absolutely inundated with orders, far more than I was expecting. While this is fantastic news it does mean that I’m running very low on stock with some items now sold-out.

Although those products will be available to order again in the future I am limited with what I can do between now and November, but I will bring with me as much stock as I can.

There will be a stock update this week with the Crossley Light Tender, 18 pounder and Clyno Vickers motorcycle all available (plus a small number of figures previously out of stock) and my advice for these (and all items in the Tommy’s War range) is to pre-order in advance so that you can collect on the day of the show.

This will remove any postage costs and will tell me that you’re collecting. I will have everything ready for collection over both days of the show, so just come along and pick-up.

As you can imagine, it’s very busy at the moment, so please don’t email with individual requests as this is harder for me to administer and I don’t want to let anyone down.

Please note; I will bring as much available stock as possible – but with the current levels of demand stock is selling fast. Please don’t travel without pre-ordering if there is a particular figure or item that you would like.
