On Friday 28th May I’ll be announcing three new releases, a new book from Andy Belsey and the cavalry returns to stock – all timed so you can buy together, and save postage (or even qualify for free postage).
Make sure you set your alarm clock so you don’t miss out;
First, the three releases;
|TW32S07||Vickers Machine gun, Passchendaele 1917|
|TW32CP24||Private, German Infantry (casualty)|
|TW32AL06||Sergeant, 167th Bn US Army|
After three years of development I’m delighted to finally be able to show you the Vickers Machine Gun kit which includes a base, the machine gun and three figures all in later-war uniform (1917-1918).
The base, sculpted by Andy Belsey, ingeniously incorporates the Vickers machine gun, also supplied are two British crew and a German casualty. Included in the kit are the ammunition box, water canister etc creating a truly epic scene. The entire set will be available for £88.00.
The casualty is also its own separate figure under the number TW32CP24, and the final figure is the US Army Sergeant with Remington shotgun, this was originally scheduled for release in 2020, but we re-sculpted the forward arm so the hand is placed on the frond grip.
All will be released Friday 28th May at 08:00 am (GMT)
There have been several emails asking for news of stock of the cavalry figures, I’m pleased to say we’ve cast a large batch of the three out of stock,. The full restock is;
|TW32C02||Trooper, Warwickshire Yeomanry|
|TW32C03||Trooper, Australian Light Horse|
|TW32C04||Trooper, 17th Lancers|
|TW32MOT1||Clyno Vickers motorcycle|
|TW32S02||The Christmas Truce|
There are 50 of each of the cavalry figures coming in, looking at the “Back in stock notifier” I can see 30 people are waiting for C02 and 20 each for 3 and 4 – so I think I’ve got enough stock to cover orders, but the new stock will be updated Friday 28th May 08:00 am (GMT) on a first-come-first-served basis.
New Andy Belsey book
Just in time to coincide with the Vickers diorama base sculpted by Andy, is the release of his new book;
This 192 page book features 300 photographs showing the fabulous World War One trench modelling of Andy. You’ll find plenty of Tommy’s War inspiration in this eagerly anticipated publication.
The book will be available to order on the 28th May and I hope to have stock delivered by that point. Note that the book isn’t available until the end of May – some sites are allowing pre-orders, but everyone gets the book at similar times.
I’m launching this on the 28th May 2021 so that customers can place orders with the other items and benefit from free postage!
I’m not stopping there, we’ll be casting over the summer to ensure there is stock available by Autumn of all figures, cavalry and artillery.
The Crossley will be available later in the year, the Collectors Club Specials will be available to all customers for a short period and there will be another great new release (TW32S08).
Tommy’s War continues to grow from strength-to-strength and now we’ve hit that goal of 100 figures in the range over 10 years you’ll be pleased to know I won’t be stopping and planning for 2022 is underway!
