While the UK and much of the world remains on lockdown, I’ve been busy planning and researching future releases, and I thought it would be good to share some early thoughts.
At this point I have to stress that this is strictly a draft list and subject to many variables, we’re living in uncertain times and I really don’t know how things are going to play out at this point.
So, at this point I’m going to plan around UK restrictions being gradually lifted with some sort of return to as close as normal by July of this year.
Draft release schedule 2020/21
|TW32C04||Trooper, 17th Lancers, Amiens 1918||June 2020|

|TW32CC05||2021 Collector Club Special TBA||November |

|TW32C05||Mounted figure, TBC||July 2021|
|TW32S07||Vickers Machine Gun, Hervilly Wood 1918||July 2021|
The schedule currently takes us through 2020 and up to the rescheduled World Expo, I’ll also aim for more releases later in 2021.
I’m currently researching and developing French equipment including weapons and the Adrian helmet. This will lead to the development of French releases, possibly late 2021.
More German releases
Those that watch Tommy’s War carefully may be aware that a portion of the figures in the range were from the purchase of masters from an Italian Collector. I still retain the option of purchasing his final 6 WW1 masters which (funds permitting) I’d like to release for World Expo 2021. These comprise;
|TW32CP18||Wachtmeister, 5th Hussar Regiment, Macedonia 1917|
|TW32CP19||Oberleutnant, 3rd Light Infantry Reg, Udine October 1917|
|TW32CP20||Musketier 48 Infantry Regiment, Mons 1914|
|TW32CP21||Unteroffizier, Motor Transport Column, Macedonia 1916|
|TW32CP22||Shutze, 27 Light Infantry, Battle of Helsinki, April 1918|
|TW32CP23||Musketier, 701st Inf Bn, Nazareth October 1918|
If everything comes together then that will take Tommy’s War up to 101 of Nino Pizzichemi’s figures as individual releases (including Collector Club Specials and those unique to the specials range) plus five mounted figures.
That’s certainly a great achievement for the 10 year anniversary of Tommy’s War and I hope that we can continue that long into the future!
One of the most common requests are for the scenic bases which have been out of stock for some time now. There are a number of reasons for this (which I won’t go into at this point) but it is something I’m working on with my caster.
My aim at this point is to release the German 3 part trench section, plus the 5 x 5 individual bases plus some new ones which will display some of the newer figures in September 2020.
I sincerely apologise for the delay getting these products back into stock.
