Next up – Scale Model Challenge
Last weekend I had the pleasure of trading at Scale Scotland, a great show which takes place annually in Edinburgh.
I had a great time and met many current customers and new ones too. For those not familiar with the show it’s held at the home of Scottish Rugby Union, Murrayfield, a spectacular stadium in the heart of the city. The show itself is superbly organised and very friendly. I’ve got to say a massive thank you to everyone involved for firstly inviting me and then your warm welcome and assistance.
So, after a 6 hour drive back home Saturday night and a day sorting stock, orders and various pieces of admin, my mind turns to my next show (in just over two weeks time) in Veldhoven, The Netherlands, on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th October 2019.
Scale Model Challenge (for their website click here) is always a highlight for me, not just for the outstanding warm welcome I always receive, but for the sheer number of great modellers and great models on display. It really is a delight to be able to appear there.
As always with the show I’m limited to how much stock I can squeeze into my car for the journey. So, if you’re coming along and there is something specific you want then I strongly advise you to pre-order from the website (tommyswar.com) and at check-out use the following code;
smccollect2019
This will instruct the system not to charge any postage and I’ll know to bring those figures with me, reserved for you to pick-up on either day. (note; reserved orders should be with me before 15th October as I travel on the 17th).
I’ll have the available Tommy’s War range with me, plus artillery and cavalry. Please note that the Clyno Vickers motorcycle is very low in stock and might not be available, the Crossley Light Tender is currently out of stock (waiting for decal sheets to be printed) and bases will not be ready for the show.
I won’t be taking any of the out of production range (Dawn of the Apocalypse or North and South) – if there are any of those ranges that you would like me to bring then drop me an email at darren@tommyswar.com
If you’re coming along, then please come and say hello and introduce yourself, and I look forward to what will be another fabulous weekend!
