I wanted to give all the members of the Collectors Club an update on what you can expect over the course of the next few months;
Collectors Club 2020
Unfortunately, there won’t be a Collectors Club for 2020 as explained here. However, the good news is that if you renewed or joined the 2019 Collectors Club then your 20% discount will be extended to 31st December 2020.
Newsletter edition 12
I’ve written the latest edition of the newsletter and I’m planning on working with my designer to get that completed by the end of August and out to customers in September.
However, there is good news. Any members of the current club who have joined or renewed the 2019 club will receive their 20% discount up until 31st December 2020.
Collectors Club plans for Autumn and Winter 2019
My plan is to get up-to-date with newsletters 11 and 12 and make sure all orders are complete, I’ll then be getting ready for the Autumn model shows.
I do plan Edition 13 of the newsletter which I aim to have ready in November 2019. There will also be a new catalogue which will be available around the same time, so the plan is that all members receive the catalogue and newsletter 13 by the end of this year.
Plans for 2020
As well as continuing the 20% discount until the end of 2020 for 2019 Collectors Club members I’ll be sending you three further newsletters (taking the total to 16) plus a new catalogue for 2020-2021.
Plans for 2021 and beyond
At some point in 2020 (probably around July at World Expo) I’ll announce the plans for 2021 and beyond.
Collector Club Specials
There were four Collectors Club Special figures released over the course of the four years of the club, at the end of 2019 these will be discontinued.
My reasoning is that I don’t think it would be fair to make them generally available, but I appreciate that some members would like to purchase the ones they don’t have.
I’m thinking of having a short period (again, perhaps July 2020 at World Expo) where these are available for members of the 2019 Collectors Club to purchase. I’d appreciate your thoughts on this idea – does it appeal, or does it offend? Drop me a line at email@example.com and let me know!
