Tommy’s War Collectors Club update – December 2018

The Collectors Club continues to go from strength to strength, and the 2019 looks set to include a record number of members. After a busy 2018 and some fantastic new releases to come in 2019 I thought now would be a good time to give members (and prospective members) an update;

Newsletter number 10

I’m going to begin with an apology. I’m sorry.

I’d got the usual end-of-year newsletter scheduled for December and those who have been members of the Collectors Club in previous years will know that I include a Christmas card and a £10 voucher for use with Tommy’s War in the following year.

The last four months of 2018 have been exceptionally busy, in fact the three months September to November was a record quarter by some substantial margin and while this is absolutely fantastic for the business, as a sole trader it has presented it’s own challenges!

It’s fair to say I’ve concentrated pretty much 100% of my time to ensuring that orders are shipped through this period as quickly as possible, and I’m afraid I just didn’t get a chance to compose, produce and mail a Christmas newsletter (number 10).

However, I’m going to put something together over Christmas with the aim of printing issue early January and mailing some time during the month. If you didn’t get the newsletter issue 9 then I’ll include both and if you’ve not yet had a catalogue then one will also be included.

I’ll also be included the usual voucher (as I know many customers look out for this) and without giving too much away it will be useful in April!

My sincere apologies for this, but the reasons are good ones and Tommy’s War goes from strength-to-strength.

The Collectors Club 2019

After I get back up to date with the release of Issue 9 of the newsletter in January I’m going to aim to get Issue 10 out for April 2019. I’ll be sending this to all current members of the 2018 and 2019 Collectors Club. The aim of Issue 10 will be to focus on the new releases, with background, uniform and painting information.

Further newsletters will then follow in October and December 2019.
