The new releases under the banner Passchendaele 1917 have been really well received and are selling fast.

I’ve been asked when lots of out of stock products will be available and you can find more details here, but I’ve also been asked when new releases will be ready.

It’s a difficult question to answer because plans change regularly and production can take longer than expected, but to give you an idea here are some of my initial thoughts;

TW32VC02 – Captain Noel Chavasse RAMC

I’m pleased to say that Benoit has completed the sculpt of this figure and I’m delighted with it. The figure shows Captain Chavasse helping a wounded soldier of the North Lancashire Division to safety and offering him water. It’s a strong scene that Benoit has captured perfectly.

The sculpt is on its way to the casting company where it will go into production immediately. I estimate release in April 2018

TW32C03 – Trooper, Australian Light Horse, Beersheba 1917

This is clearly causing a lot of excitement and highly anticipated. Nino is sculpting this mounted figure at the moment and I anticipate it being ready in March. Cavalry subjects do require more care in production and I’m not sure when it will be available for release. Personally, I would like it to be ready in June but that may not be possible, but I certainly aim to have it before the Autumn show schedule.

TW32CC04 – Officer, Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry

The Collectors Club figure will be sculpted to work with the Autumn releases (see below)

TW32044, 45, 46 – Private, Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry

These figures will be outlined as ‘up the line’ and will show typical infantry figures moving up, they will work in conjunction with (or without) TW32CC04

I’m still working through the schedule and there will be more releases. The Tank Corps figures will move to late 2018/early 2019 and there is a possibility of more German releases (but that is in negotiation at the moment).

Current plans for 2019 include a Vickers machine gun team, Indian army and US figures, so there is plenty to come!
