September is here and new releases are on their way!
With just a week until the new Euro Miniature Expo it’s a busy time for Tommy’s War.
You’ll be pleased to know that although busy, preparations are going well and everything is on schedule to hit the release dates that were previously published.
Currently, I’m aiming to announce the new Collectors Club for 2018 and show images of both the 2017 and 2018 Collectors Club Special, with the new releases, over the weekend.
Collectors Club
The Collectors Club Special for 2017 (TW32CC02 – Sergeant, Household Cavalry) is on schedule, currently members of the 2017 Collectors Club who have selected that figure will receive the figure in one of the following two ways;
- Collection from Euro Militaire in person by presenting a current membership number
- Anyone not able to collect will be sent their figure by post week commencing 18th September
Over the weekend I will be announcing the Collectors Club for 2018, the membership figure for the year will be;
TW32CC03 – Private, 7th Bn Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, Hulloch 1916
This figure will be available immediately, so if any member of the Collectors Club renewing, or joining, the 2018 Collectors Club at Euro Miniature Expo will be able to collect at the show.
Images of both figures will be available later this week.
Customers are asking if they can buy the figures, I can confirm that the three figures in the series are only available to Collectors Club Members as part of their membership.
Members can buy multiple memberships (and therefore select the other figures if they do not already have them). The 20% discount applies to memberships, so as an example;
A UK member of the 2017 Collectors Club has selected the 2017 special figure, but was not a member in 2016 and would like the sniper. They simply log-in to their account and purchase another membership at £20.00 (£25.00 for a UK membership less 20%) and choose TW32CC01.
It’s worth pointing out that despite have two memberships that customer only receives 20% discount.

Show schedule
I’ll be at the new Euro Miniature Expo (which has replaced Euro Militaire) and I hope UK modellers will really support this show. I know the organisers and they are figure enthusiasts driven to keep a great UK modelling show going, and I also know how much work they have put in, so they deserve our support.
You can find more information at www.eurominiatureexpo.com
Following that, I’ll be at Scale Model Challenge in Eindhoven in October and Scale Model World in Telford in November, so I’m looking forward to seeing many of you at these shows.
Summary
As you can imagine with 6 new releases, 2 new Collectors Club Specials and a re-stock in-hand it’s a really busy time for me. As well as coordinating this and Euro Miniature Expo I’m working on a new catalogue and newsletter.
As a consequence I’m not going to be able to respond to individual requests asking to see releases early or to reserve products until after the weekend. In the meantime keep an eye on the website, Facebook and look out for emails informing you exactly when products will be listed.
I’d just like to say a massive thanks to all the Tommy’s War customers, I do really appreciate your understanding at busy times like this.
I look forward to bringing you more news very soon!
